Scrap Card Tutorial

Many people have asked that I share how I made my scrap card. First let me say, that I am not the original creator of this template. If you know who it is please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.

The first step is to score a 12 X 12 sheet of cardstock at 4 and 8 inches.

Rotate your cardstock 1/4 turn and repeat the process. You will end up with 9 equal squares. Take a pair of paper snips and cut out the four corners.

You will end up with 5 remaining squares.

Use a bone folder and crease all of your score lines.

Cut one peice of cardstock to 6" X 6 " and a peice of Designer paper to 5 3/4" X 5 3/4". This will be the back of your card.

Then simply decorate the remaining squares as you wish. I used the Friends and Flowers Level I hostess set for this project. I am going to send it out to someone who has been very generous in sending me blog candy in the past week. To adhere the scrap part of the card to the 6 X 6 square I used Sticky Strip. It holds a lot better than SNAIL due to the weight of the scrap card. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
